Robert Douglas (Bob) Bullock was a Texas politician. Whether or not you agree with his politics, he was a very influential person in Texas history. Here is a link to a nice writeup on Bob Bullock:
He was a Nash family relative. His mother was Ruth Rebecca Mitchell and his grandfather was Thomas Douglas Mitchell. His great grandfather was Calvin W. Mitchell, brother of Harvey Mitchell, the father in law of E. R. Nash. He is also related indirectly through Harvey Mitchell. It is a little more complicated, but suffice it to say that Alma Nash married Joseph Nix Mitchell and that Joseph Nix and Ruth Rebecca Mitchell were brother and sister.
